Do you know how i can unlock the desktop feature on my system. I am running windows xp version 2002 sp2. I would like to change the wallpaper to something of my choice.

1 Open registry editor by Click Start-run then type regedit
2 Navigate to registry key :
HKEY_CURRENT_USER | Software | Microsoft | Windows | CurrentVersion | Policies | ActiveDesktop
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | Software | Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ActiveDesktop
* Create a new DWORD Value and give the name NoActiveDesktopChanges
* Double click NoActiveDesktopChanges and fill value data with 0.

due to virus i lost the folder option and run
and sometime i got the message task manager is disable form administrator
so pleace give me the solution about how to get folder option and run

Goto start->click Run->type- regedit in the box->ENTER->A box will open->press ctrl+F->Find box eill appear->type- nofolderoption ->enter->
Double click on the nofolderoption string & make its value to 0->Find other such nofolder option string & make its value to 0.->restart ur computer->Enjoy.

well one can add a name "Start Dos shell here " whn v rite click da drives or folders...its simple...
but i want to know how do i add a sub menu...
take a e.g. of WInRar....--> it has da options like --1.add 2 archieve. 2.compress and email 3. add to "Folder.rar"...........
i ma trying to it long back but i am not getting it....
