i tried using lophcrack but it could not crack my password.. well thats the other thing.. basically what i wanna ask or rather tell is that u have to install the program to run.. to install one must have administrator rights on the machine. and if he has admin access i assume either he knows the pwd already or there is no info that the admin wants to hide from the user.. so why the effort..
Personally i like to use ophcrack live cd.. the cd comes as a complete sw package .. just insert the cd and boot from it.. it automatically recovers hashes and displays pwds accordingly... Do you find this valuable?
